<p>The Manchester City player revealed after the game that he had told Alexander-Arnold he would pay him £500 if he scored the effort from distance. Alexander-Arnold, filling in at left-back, curled the effort into the top left-corner to double the Three Lions' advantage <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/jack-grealish-new-baby-celebration-daughter-mila-superb-england-move-open-scoring-against-finland/blt625f722cf2751700" target="_blank">after Grealish broke the deadlock</a>.</p>

WHAT GREALISH SAID

<p>England bounced back from a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/england-player-ratings-greece-phil-foden-jude-bellingham-jordan-pickford/blt064b3d977fb709c0" target="_blank">disappointing defeat to Greece</a> on Thursday to win comfortably in Helsinki. Grealish opened the scoring after 18 minutes with a low curling effort after being played through by a lovely Angel Gomes pass. Alexander-Arnold's free-kick then made it two before Declan Rice added a third and Finland scored a consolation goal through Arttu Hoskonen.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>After settling his debt with Alexander-Arnold, Grealish will return to Manchester City ahead of their clash with Wolves. Meanwhile the defender will play for Grealish's title-rivals Liverpool against Chelsea on Sunday. They will return for England in the next international break in November.</p>
