However, Gundogan's importance isn't lost on his former team-mate Grealish, who posted his thoughts on the 33-year-old's performance.

WHAT GREALISH SAID

Gundogan has been at the top of his game and has been one of the most underrated midfielders of his generation. In the current Euros campaign, he has managed to score and assist once in two group matches so far and has been Germany's main facilitator in attacks alongside Musiala.
