Mbappe is eligible to play in the 2024 Olympics, and his participation in the tournament has been subject of discussion around French football. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/arsenal-legend-thierry-henry-kylian-mbappe-psg-real-madrid-transfer/bltd00ba970ee956f67" target="_blank">Henry has repeatedly claimed</a> that he wants to have PSG's all-time leading goalscorer in his side for the tournament.

WHAT HAPPENED?

If I play the Olympics then it will be a dream, but if I'm not allowed to, then I will do as I'm told. The decision is still up to one person and they haven't told me yes or no."

WHAT MBAPPE SAID

Mbappe's participation in his home tournament would seem to be complicated <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/real-madrid-told-99-percent-chance-kylian-mbappe-completes-summer-transfer-la-liga-president-javier-tebas-psg-superstar/bltc49c45bb55a533e5" target="_blank">by his pending move to Madrid</a>. Although he assured reporters that his future will be determined before the Euros, Los Blancos may be reluctant to let their star striker leave so soon after securing his signature.
