He was, however, cleared to leave Germany and head for St George’s Park.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Kane was all smiles when joining up with <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/england-squad-tottenham-striker-dominic-solanke-returns-seven-years-international-wilderness-man-utd-defender-harry-maguire-misses-out/blt9037b41494ce3091" target="_blank">Lee Carsley’s squad</a>, but questions continue to be asked of how fit he is. England have already lost Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, Nottingham Forest playmaker Morgan Gibbs-White and Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa to injuries – with <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/england-interim-boss-lee-carsley-injury-problems-harry-kane-three-lions-greece-finland-nations-league/blt568364b1b2451ef4" target="_blank">said trio all being forced to withdraw</a>.</p>
