Ipswich go down! Newcastle defeat sees 10-man Tractor Boys seal final relegation spot and join Leicester and Southampton in Championship

<p>Goals from Alexander Isak and Dan Burn secured all three points for Newcastle against Ipswich on Saturday and ensured the Tractor Boys will be playing Championship football once again next season. A tough afternoon for Ipswich started badly when Ben Johnson was sent off in the first half, before a penalty on the stroke of half-time from Isak gave the visitors a mountain to climb. Further goals from Dan Burn and William Osula finished Ipswich off and ensured they claim the final relegation spot in the Premier League for the 2024-25 season.</p><p><strong></strong></p>

<p>There's no doubt it's been a tough season for Ipswich. Kieran McKenna's side have managed just four wins in the Premier League, while defeat to Newcastle was their 21st from 34 matches in the English top flight.
