<p>The young Frenchman only landed in Germany at the start of this season, but an impressive turn in Frankfurt has made him hot property. WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>It is believed the club value Ekitike at around €80 million (£67m/$87m), according to <a href="https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2025/premier-league-sides-puruse-deal-for-e80m-rated-hugo-ekitike/" target="_blank">Florian Plettenberg</a>. The 23-year-old first joined the club on loan in January 2024, before joining permanently in April of the same year for a fee of €16.5m (£14m/$18m).</p>

<p>Ekitiké has thrived in Germany, and stepped up to the plate following the departure of Omar Marmoush. He has recorded 32 goal contributions in 43 game this season. </p>
