After England's second group stage game against Denmark, which ended in a 1-1 draw, the former Spurs and Barcelona star <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/gary-lineker-scathing-assessment-england-euro-2024-questions-kalvin-phillips-claim-gareth-southgate/blt342ade66c2ca6708#csc94cfc218c011b53" target="_blank">delivered a scathing assessment of the Three Lions players,</a> labelling their performance 'sh*t'.

From advertisements, he has received payments worth £45 per 1,000 views every time he mentions the sponsors and £15 if they are associated with them. Views and listens have gone up significantly and as per his son Harry, who produces the podcast, there has been a steep rise in the number of downloads.

The Bayern Munich star reminded Lineker what it is like to play for the national team and urged the former Spurs star, as well as Richards and Shearer, to maintain a positive outlook on Southgate's squad.
