The Three Lions skipper found the net early in the match, giving him goals in each of the first four matches under new national team coach Tuchel, a feat never before accomplished by any England player.</p>

<p>Kane's goal against Senegal follows his successful efforts in matches against Albania, Latvia, and Andorra. His strike against Andorra allowed him to equal Peter Crouch’s record of scoring in three consecutive games under Steve McClaren.</p>

<p>Despite Kane’s landmark moment, England’s overall performance was below par. Senegal responded swiftly and ruthlessly. Ismaila Sarr levelled the match after slipping past Kyle Walker and finishing from close range. In the second half, Habib Diarra struck in the 62nd minute to give Senegal a deserved lead.
