Despite <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/bayern-joao-palhinha-new-deal-fulham/blt939bb91b4cb45d47" target="_blank">signing a new contract with Fulham</a>, he has been linked with a possible January switch and <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/bayern-munich-christoph-freund-bundesliga-fulham-joao-palhinha/blt6064b56ada8a2155" target="_blank">Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund admitted the midfielder is still being monitored</a> by the club.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The Portugal international was asked if he is still considering a switch to Bayern, but he insists his focus is on finishing off the month of December with Fulham. He said to DAZN (via <a href="https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1732776137439293464" target="_blank">iMiaSanMia</a>): "It's not messing with my head, I'm calm.&nbsp;I'm not thinking much about what will come next.&nbsp;I'm thinking about the seven games we have ahead of us in December, they are complicated games, there is Boxing Day, it all comes together.&nbsp;It's an important month for Fulham and for me too.&nbsp;And that's where my focus is.&nbsp;Whatever has to happen in January will happen."

WHAT PALHINHA SAID

Despite their efforts to sign him in the summer, Bayern are not lining up a new bid for him in the next transfer window, <a href="https://sport.sky.de/fussball/artikel/bayerns-kandidaten-liste-mit-zubimendi-geertruida-neves-yoro-martinez-kadioglu/13023120/33896" target="_blank">Sky Sports</a> reports.
