<p>The England striker joined Bayern from Tottenham in 2023, a year after Poland hero Lewandowski departed for Barcelona, and has proven to be a spectacular signing. The 31-year-old has scored an amazing 80 goals in 88 matches over his two seasons in Germany so far.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Kane's 36 goals in the Bundesliga last season saw him fall short of breaking Lewandowski's record of 41 for the most goals in a single campaign, but former Barcelona and Chelsea player Emmanuel Petit feels that he has "banished" his predecessor's shadow at the Allianz Arena.</p>
