Now, Kane is preparing to win his 100th cap for England against Finland and says he has no plans to stop racking up appearances, having turned 31 in July.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Kane has yet to win any silverware in his career, but has twice come within a whisker for England; he has been a runner-up in two European Championship finals, losing in both 2021 and 2024 to Italy and Spain. Ronaldo managed to win Euro 2016 with Portugal, and Kane will hope to eventually hoist a trophy aloft with the three lions on his chest.
