Germany Women's World Cup 2023 squad: Who's in & who's out?

Germany are one of the favorites to win the 2023 Women's World Cup. The team has a strong mix of experience and youth, and features a number of world-class players.

They have won the trophy twice - back-to-back in 2003 and 2007 - since the first edition of the World Cup in 1991. They have also been semi-finalists twice and were runners-up in 1995 when they lost to Norway in the final.

Germany have a good chance of going all the way in the 2023 Women's World Cup. They were finalists in Euro 2022 and succumbed to an extra-time defeat against England in the ultimate knockout round.

They also topped their group in the qualification rounds for the World Cup, winning nine out of their 10 group games and scoring an astonishing 4.7 goals per game in those fixtures. If Germany can keep this up, they will be a tough team to beat.
