<p>On Saturday evening, Sevilla's Jose Ramon Cisneros Palacios training complex was attacked by fans, who broke down the entry gates and entered the premises before vandalising club property. The incident materialised after the Rojiblancos' 3-2 loss to 10-man Celta Vigo dragged them into a relegation battle against Alaves, Leganes and Las Palmas. Sevilla players then had to stay overnight at the training complex as police and club security failed to secure a safe exit for the stars.   </p>

<p>Sevilla have released an official statement condemning the "violent attacks" and "organised vandalism" that took place on Saturday evening. The statement read: "Sevilla FC strongly condemns the organized vandalism that took place this Saturday night at the Jose Ramon Cisneros Palacios Sports City, following the arrival of the first team at its facilities after the match against Celta de Vigo. </p><p>"Sevilla FC understands that the team's sporting situation, which is not what any Sevilla fan wants, may lead to protests, but under no circumstances will they be tolerated if they are accompanied by aggression, threats, or acts of vandalism. Likewise, it will pursue the public naming of employees and the dissemination of private data on social media and in the media, acts that constitute a crime.</p><p>"Sevilla FC will report to the relevant authorities the unusual acts of violence suffered by its employees, players, technical staff, and management upon their arrival at the sports city. These attacks forced the Sevilla first team to spend the night at the facilities.</p><p>"Sevilla FC requests that the law enforcement agencies exercise the utmost diligence to locate those responsible for these despicable acts, perpetrated by a group of organized radicals who acted with extreme violence. </p><p>"Of course, it will report to the relevant authorities the attack on its facilities, as well as the acts of vandalism that occurred in the first team area, which even resulted in the invasion of the aforementioned first team area by a large group of violent individuals.</p><p>"Beyond the complaints, Sevilla FC is committed to doing everything in its power to collaborate in the pursuit of the perpetrators of these crimes. It will try to help identify those involved in the aforementioned actions and will act uncompromisingly if they are Sevilla FC fans and members.</p><p>"Finally, Sevilla FC expresses its absolute condemnation of any protest that involves violence and criminal acts such as those that occurred this Saturday, May 10. The club is certain that these actions do not represent the Sevilla fans, who are also aware of the significance of Tuesday's match against UD Las Palmas at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan."</p>

WHAT SEVILLA SAID ABOUT THE INCIDENTS

<p>Los Rojiblancos are set to take on fellow relegation battlers, Las Palmas, up next as they will look to secure a win that will essentially put them in a better situation than they currently are.  </p>
