McAtee was one of the few shining lights in a dismal Sheffield United side last season and may have been expecting a few more minutes this campaign. A move to Fulham in January could provide that opportunity.</p>

<p>The Cottagers' stand-out players this season have all come from other Premier League sides. They have signed Emile Smith Rowe, Bernd Leno and Reiss Nelson from Arsenal, Alex Iwobi from Everton, Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore from Wolves, Andreas Pereira from Manchester United and Harry Wilson from Liverpool in recent years, with each signing a success. Under Marco Silva's guidance, Fulham have climbed to ninth and are firmly in the hunt for European football.</p>

<p>McAtee scored three goals and registered three assists in 30 Premier League games for Sheffield United last season. This term, he has only appeared four times in the league for City and cannot get a look in - despite their wretched form.</p>
