Forgotten 23-goal Premier League hitman reveals willingness to join Ryan Reynolds' & Rob McElhenney's project at Wrexham

<p>Berahino revealed in a question and answer session on X, formerly Twitter, that he would be open to making the move to the Welsh club this summer once his contract at Limassol expires. He has been with the Cypriot club since 2022 but has scored just four goals in 44 games, and his deal ends at the end of the season.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Berahino scored 23 goals in the Premier League for West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City, while he was the subject of interest from Tottenham in 2015, as they saw a £15 million ($19m) bid rejected. He eventually moved to the Potters, after being hit with a drug ban due to a positive test for MDMA. He has since played for Zulte Waregem and Charleroi in Belgium, as well as Sheffield Wednesday and now Limassol.</p>

<p>Wrexham already have Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer on their books, but they may well be convinced to have a look at Berahino if he is willing to make the move.
