<p>According to <a href="https://sport.sky.de/fussball/artikel/erik-ten-hag-beim-bundesliga-spiel-zwischen-bvb-bayer-04-leverkusen-im-stadion/13288212/34942" target="_blank"><em>Sky Germany</em>,</a> Dortmund's Marketing Director Carsten Cramer was seen showing Ten Hag around the business area at Signal Iduna Park on the evening of their 3-2 loss to Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga last week. This comes at a time when Dortmund have slipped to eighth in league under manager Sahin, who <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/borussia-dortmund-edin-terzic-replacement-club-legend-german-side-hot-seat-coach-surprise-exit/blt21d86d2b8cf13e91" target="_blank">replaced Edin Terzic last summer</a>.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The report adds, however, that despite Ten Hag maintaining a good relationship with Dortmund's chief advisor, Matthias Sammer, there is 'no connection' between the ex-Ajax boss' visits to the stadium and the club's poor recent results. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/borussia-dortmund-adamant-nuri-sahin-job-safe-despite-poor-run-of-form-recent-weeks/bltf27f323b5d715b1c" target="_blank">Dortmund's support in manager Sahin</a> is 'not wavering' and the 36-year-old 'continues to enjoy the full trust of the club's bosses'.</p>

<p>Ten Hag, who was <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/time-finally-runs-out-for-erik-ten-hag-man-utd-set-to-sack-coach-nightmare-start/bltbc78659f6992704c" target="_blank">sacked at United in October</a>, is still on good terms with Sammer as he played a big role in the Dutchman taking up a managerial role at Bayern Munich's reserve team from 2013-15. That is partly why he has repeatedly visited Dortmund's stadium.</p>
