European Golden Shoe 2024-25: Kylian Mbappe beats Mohamed Salah, Robert Lewandowski to win

Kylian Mbappe finished the season as La Liga's top scorer, winning the Pichichi Trophy. He also scooped the Golden Boot for the first time in his career as the top scorer in domestic European competitions.

The Real Madrid forward racked up an impressive 31 goals in the Spanish top flight, tallying 62 points in UEFA's ranking system—more than any other player across Europe's major leagues.

With this feat, Mbappe joins elite company, becoming just the third Los Blancos star to win the Golden Boot after Hugo Sánchez in 1989-90 and Cristiano Ronaldo, who took home the honour in three separate seasons (2010-11, 2013-14, and 2014-15).
