The Norwegian goal machine was later <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/erling-haaland-season-over-man-city-striker-concern-protective-boot-ankle-injury-fa-cup-bournemouth/blt7589baa5bd458527#csf04e6850d94a9f85" target="_blank">spotted in a protective boot</a>. On Tuesday, manager Pep Guardiola confirmed that the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/erling-haaland-ruled-out-man-city-issue-statement-striker-s-ankle-injury/bltd4b366f2cb80e467#cs999d071f02cae71b" target="_blank">forward has been ruled out for several weeks</a> after initial tests on his left ankle.</p>
