<p>There are few ways of stopping Haaland, most try and most fail. Ipswich last week fell victims to the Norwegian's seventh Premier League hat-trick and by gameweek three he added another at the despair of West Ham fans. Along with his continuous match-ball collection, he has a fine knack for breaking records as well.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>He opened the scoring at the London Stadium with a cool finish tucked into the net, he then followed it up by cannoning a shot onto the inner side of the crossbar before lofting his third over substitute goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski to collect the match ball. THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>His hat-trick strike rate is at a frightening one in every nine games. To compare that to some of the other goal-loving strikers, Harry Kane bagged a treble eight times and it took him 320 games to do so, Sergio Aguero has 12 hat-tricks and that feat would occur once every 24 games. To top it off he now has 70 goals in 69 Premier League games for City.</p>
