However, <a href="https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Serie-A/Roma/06-04-2025/ten-hag-a-roma-sara-in-tribuna-per-roma-juve.shtml" target="_blank">La <em>Gazzetta dello Sport</em></a> reports that there has been no official contact about the role yet.</p>

<p>Claudio Ranieri is currently in charge at Roma but is highly likely to leave in the summer. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/time-finally-runs-out-for-erik-ten-hag-man-utd-set-to-sack-coach-nightmare-start/bltbc78659f6992704c" target="_blank">Ten Hag is searching for his next job after he was sacked by United</a> earlier this season. He was considered a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/erik-ten-hag-new-job-borussia-dortmund-man-utd-replace-nuri-sahin-bvb-champions-league-bologna/bltb807336f5eee8fd4" target="_blank">leading candidate for the Borussia Dortmund job</a> in January and is now being linked with a high-profile job in another of Europe's top leagues.</p>

<p>Ten Hag is not just attending the game as a guest of the owners but is also being given the special treatment off the field. He is staying in a hotel that was also used by January signings Victor Nelsson and Anass Salah-Eddine.</p>
