Enzo Fernandez found guilty of driving offence as Chelsea midfielder learns sentencing date

Fernandez has been found guilty of a traffic violation by Llanelli Magistrates' Court for failing to identify himself as the driver of a Porsche that allegedly ran a red light in Carmarthenshire as per the <a href="https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ck7gvnedjgjo" target="_blank">BBC</a>. On December 27 of last year, the 23-year-old Argentine was charged of withholding information from Dyfed-Powys Police. He is now due to be sentenced on September 11 for his violation.

Earlier this week,<a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/chelsea-squad-very-angry-enzo-fernandez-footage-argentina-squad-singing-racist-discriminatory-song-french-football-federation-hints-legal-action/blt3c7a923d65fafe13" target="_blank"> Fernandez and his Argentina teammates came under fire for their racist chants regarding the African heritage of multiple players in the French national team</a>. After a lot of criticism, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/enzo-fernandez-apology-france-song-argentina-copa-america-celebrations-chelsea-furious/blt138381b0c45d3e94" target="_blank">the 23-year-old issued an apology</a>, however, the issue is still not over as the France Football Federation (FFF) has threatened legal action against the players in question.
