A year and a half after he initially agreed to join the Spanish giants from Palmeiras, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/real-madrid-date-endrick-presentation-brazilian-santiago-bernabeu/blt5ad83b893478ed6c" target="_blank">the attacker is finally set to be unveiled as a Madrid player on Saturday</a> after being forced to wait until he turned 18 before he could leave Brazil.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The striker was initially to be handed the No. 9 jersey at the Santiago Bernabeu, but that plan was abandoned when Kylian Mbappe was given it after joining from Paris Saint-Germain in a free transfer.
