Goalkeeper Ederson was the villain for the hosts and came in for plenty of criticism from supporters after the final whistle in Manchester.</p>

<p>The result means it's advantage Madrid ahead of the second leg next week at the Santiago Bernabeu and will be even more painful given Guardiola's side had been 2-1 up with 80 minutes on the clock.
