<p>The England international has many hobbies outside of football and one of those is chess. This week, <a href="https://www.chess.com/news/view/pogchamps-6-day-4" target="_blank">Chess.com</a> reported that the 26-year-old took part in the PogChamps 6 tournament. After receiving a bye to the last four, the attacking midfielder won his semi-final and final 2-0 to claim the online competition.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Aside from chess, Eze is in red-hot form for Palace, with his performances guiding the club to a rare FA Cup final. The Eagles have never won a major trophy and now they are just one game away from making history. </p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>By winning the chess tournament, which had six players in the 'Championship bracket', Eze pocketed $20,000 and became the sixth PogChampion.</p>
