<p>The pair were part of a United Legends side that took on Celtic Legends in a charity clash at Old Trafford on Saturday. The hosts took the lead in the first half <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/teach-rashford-wayne-rooney-stunning-free-kick-man-utd-legends-match-fans-better-than-current-players/blt88d4293a8bee7167" target="_blank">courtesy of a brilliant Rooney free-kick</a> before Gary Hooper equalised for the Scottish team. The visitors clinched the tie in penalty shootout 5-4 as Danny Webber missed his spot-kick.</p>

<p>After the game, Berbatov, who spent four years at United alongside Rooney and won multiple trophies including the Premier League and the Champions League, shared a message on social media for his former colleague.</p>
