Wrexham’s community director told the <a href="https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-sports-agents/id1733124620 " target="_blank"><em>Sports Agent</em></a> podcast: "Do not encourage them! Please, they’re already deranged enough as it is, I can’t be putting Champions League in their mind. Let’s start with doing alright in the Championship."</p>

WHAT HUMPHREY KER SAID

<p>Wrexham <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney-hollywood-fc-pure-jealousy-welcome-to-wrexham-red-dragons-team-everyone-want-beat/bltca029bc76f0ceb44" target="_blank">expect to be competitive in the second tier</a> of English football, but Ker added on the challenges that they face: "It is a bit of a double-edged sword, especially for a club like us, we’ve got a 10,000 seater stadium and we’ve just taken down 3000 temporary seats.</p><p>"We are a small lot, our matchday revenues are not massive, our sponsorship revenue is very large and disproportionately large for a club of our size."</p>
