<p>Dele confirmed he would be <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/dele-alli-confirms-everton-exit-exciting-opportunities-ex-tottenham-star-serie-a-challenge-cesc-fabregas-como/blt171c921bc5ad2d66" target="_blank">leaving Everton</a> earlier this month, before <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/dele-alli-start-training-como-boxing-day-cesc-fabregas-tottenham-career-serie-a/blte4f695629baf0778" target="_blank">linking up with Cesc Fabregas' Como.</a> Reports in Italy state the 28-year-old is on a trial period with the Italian side and now <a href="https://sport.sky.it/calciomercato/2024/12/26/dele-alli-como-calciomercato-news" target="_blank">Sky Italia</a> says the ex-England international is training on his own but will then join the first-team squad when he has reached a 'satisfactory condition'.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Former Tottenham star Dele is trying to get his career back on track after difficult spells at Everton and Besiktas. He last played competitively in February 2023, with a string of injuries keeping him on the sidelines since then. Dele is <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/dele-alli-2026-world-cup-premier-league-transfer-ambition-return-everton-training-free-agency/blt123d00a86c108658" target="_blank">targeting a spot at the 2026 World Cup</a> so he will need to get back to his best to achieve that lofty goal.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Fabregas spoke on the links with Dele but played down claims he would be signed.</p><p>"I don't want to talk too much about this but perhaps there is a chance Dele will start training with us after Christmas. It would be to help him get in shape and nothing more," he said.</p>
