<p>Nunez's Liverpool future has been cast into doubt, with manager Arne Slot preferring to use Luis Diaz as his central striker and Cody Gakpo off the left in recent weeks. The forward's illness comes at an unfortunate time, with the game at PSV likely to have provided him with a chance to impress. Mohamed Salah and Diaz have been left at home, while youngster Jayden Danns started up front.</p>
