However, <a href="https://www.footmercato.net/a2814996007807082425-accord-entre-al-nassr-et-cristiano-ronaldo-pour-une-prolongation" target="_blank">Foot Mercato</a> claim the forward will stay at Al-Nassr, a 'full agreement' is in place between both parties, and Saudi sources state he has already extended his contract. </p>

<p>Ronaldo sent shockwaves around the footballing world when he made those comments on social media, leading to a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/cristiano-ronaldo-club-world-cup-portuguese-icon-pick-two-surprise-clubs-short-term-deal-al-nassr-exit/bltb077dcc358663622" target="_blank">deluge of interest from clubs</a> wishing to sign him. But if these reports come true, this would be quite the U-turn from the former Real Madrid star - who still has <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/cristiano-ronaldo-1000-career-goals-al-nassr-striker-age-retire-football/blte7c4b4ae38b6732e" target="_blank">no plans to retire just yet</a>. </p>

<p>The report adds that while the length of the contract has not been revealed, former Manchester United ace Ronaldo is 'expected' to remain with Al-Nassr until 2027 - by which time he will be 42.
