<p>Al-Nassr have drawn up a list of summer targets and are keen to strengthen their midfield by landing Caicedo, according to <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2025/04/16/moises-caicedo-transfer-chelsea-saudi-arabia-al-nassr/" target="_blank"><em>The Telegraph</em></a>. The midfielder is said to be the Saudi Pro League side's "dream" target but would cost at least £100m. Caicedo joined <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/moises-caicedo-chelsea-confirm-gbp115m-signing-midfielder-brighton/blt29e83387bde96d7c" target="_blank">Chelsea from Brighton in 2023 on an eight-year contract</a> after the Blues broke the British transfer record by splashing out £115m ($146m) on the Ecuadorian.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Al-Nassr are no strangers to splashing out big money on high-profile players. The Saudi side have already brought in Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane and Aymeric Laporte, as well as luring <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/moises-caicedo-chelsea-confirm-gbp115m-signing-midfielder-brighton/blt29e83387bde96d7c" target="_blank">Jhon Duran</a> away from Aston Villa in the winter transfer window in a €70m (£59m/$73m) transfer. Yet despite all the big-money buys, the club still sit down in third place in the league standings, eight points behind table-toppers Al-Ittihad.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Despite Al-Nassr's interest, Chelsea are said to have "no plans" to sell Caicedo, according to reporter <a href="https://x.com/JacobsBen/status/1912513937347678435" target="_blank"><em>Ben Jacobs</em></a>. The Blues are said to value the midfielder "significantly higher" than the £115m ($146m) they paid to bring him in. However, Al-Nassr could still be set for a "big summer." The Saudi side want to <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/cristiano-ronaldo-makes-final-decision-on-al-nassr-future-one-eye-portugal-swansong-2026-world-cup/blta8da34b13119e0aa" target="_blank">renew Ronaldo's contract</a> and are also hoping to sign another wide attacker.</p>
