As the months keep rolling on for the year, it won't be long now until the 2024 Copa America starts on June 20 in the host nation of the United States - with the final taking place in Miami on July 14. To mark the occasion, Nike and adidas have launched kits for some of the biggest participating sides in the Copa America, including current title holders Argentina.
Ahead of this summer's tournament, adidas has unveiled the home and away kits for its federations: Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, and Peru. The kits are given a new lease of life, recoding traditional visual cues and iconic national emblems into the modern game.
The designs are built to inspire a sense of pride and belonging, blending traditional elements with modern style to create something for the next generation of players. This big launch adds to the already released Venezuelan kit, with jerseys for Jamaica and Costa Rica still to be released by adidas, with Nike kits also yet to be unveiled.
Nike has launched kits for Brazil and the United States - giving both home and away kits a new lease of life. Called “metaprism,” Nike's approach takes traditional federation colours and augments them through the lens of light and movement.
Each design pushed each federation's colour palette in a unique direction while maintaining the country’s aesthetic identity.
