<p>The Brazil international flopped at Old Trafford after his big-money move from Ajax in 2022, but he enjoyed an immediate resurgence after moving to Spain in January, scoring four goals and setting up as many in 14 games.</p>

<p>The 25-year-old's return to form has sparked <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/i-m-planning-the-future-ruben-amorim-addresses-antony-potential-return-man-utd-winger-resurgence-real-betis/blta0e5e484ebdde101" target="_blank">suggestions he could still have a future at Old Trafford</a>, but former Red Devils star Teddy Sheringham has <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/players-man-utd-must-sell-summer-transfer-window-ruben-amorim-rebuild/blt8282f5594b643f70" target="_blank">urged the club to cut their losses with the player</a> should they receive a good enough offer for him.</p>

WHAT SHERINGHAM SAID

<p>Betis' sporting director said recently that <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/real-betis-reveals-antony-transfer-plan-man-utd-flop-impress-loan-la-liga/blt0343190a0d00e601" target="_blank">they will do "everything" to keep Antony at the club beyond this season</a>, while the club's chief executive believes they have a good chance of working out a deal.</p>
