<p>Chelsea have been linked with a number of departures this winter with Nkunku, Joao Felix, Ben Chilwell and Axel Disasi expected to leave Stamford Bridge before the window shuts. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-utd-christopher-nkunku-chelsea-gbp70m-transfer-fee-alejandro-garnacho-bid/bltc31b3a6c2f7f14f3" target="_blank">Nkunku had been linked with the Blues' Premier League rivals Manchester United</a> and the deal was expected to go through, however, the Frenchman has now decided to stay put at Stamford Bridge for the rest of the season.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>According to <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6061319/2025/02/03/chelsea-transfers-nkunku-felix/" target="_blank">The Athletic</a>, no team had been interested in paying Chelsea's asking price of £65 million ($80.2m) for Nkunku. Manchester United did approach Chelsea about a potential loan but the Blues, and indeed Nkunku, were only interested in a permanent transfer. As such, United ended their interest as they continue to struggle for wiggle room financially after failing to sell Marcus Rashford, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-in/lists/man-utd-confirm-marcus-rashford-loan-transfer-to-aston-villa-gbp40m-buy-option-red-devils-also-reach-surprisingly-salary-agreement/blt99694fc63dfdf441" target="_blank">who went out on loan to Aston Villa</a>. The situation means the Frenchman will now stay at Stamford Bridge.</p>

THE EXPLANATION

<p>Elsewhere, AC Milan have now submitted an official bid for Felix on a six-month loan deal which is likely to be accepted by Chelsea, according to<a href="https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1886420400118104388" target="_blank"> Fabrizio Romano</a>. Additionally, <a href="https://x.com/Matt_Law_DT/status/1886420094432993297" target="_blank">The Telegraph's Matt Law</a> has also reported that Enzo Maresca is set to leave the Portuguese forward out of the squad for their clash against West Ham later on Monday ahead of a potential deadline-day exit.</p>
