<p>The France international moved to Stamford Bridge from RB Leipzig in 2023. He cost £52 million ($70m) at that point, but has <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/raheem-sterling-joao-felix-robert-sanchez-players-chelsea-must-sell-summer-transfer-window/blt18bd197d118f3893" target="_blank">struggled for form and fitness throughout his time in English football</a> - starting just nine Premier League games this season.</p>

<p>Nkunku has registered only 17 goals for Chelsea through 56 appearances in all competitions, with six of those efforts coming in top-flight competition. He did, however, hit 58 goals for Leipzig across the two campaigns immediately prior to his big-money move.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Arsenal, who are in the hunt for more firepower, believe that the Frenchman could be a useful addition at Emirates Stadium. According to <a href="https://www.teamtalk.com/arsenal/explode-into-race-for-neglected-chelsea-star-barcelona-threaten-sources " target="_blank"><em>TEAMtalk</em></a>, Mikel Arteta feels that Nkunku would fit nicely into his tactical system if a switch from west to north London were to be completed.</p>
