He then went on to assist Rafael Leao for his team's third of the match.

Having scored in the first leg as Milan ran out 4-2 winners in San Siro and then grabbed the winning goal against Empoli in Serie A at the weekend, Pulisic has now hit the net in three consecutive matches for the first time in his career. The 25-year-old now has 11 goals to his name for Milan since joining from Chelsea last summer.

Pulisic's team-mate Ruben Loftus-Cheek also hit a rare milestone when he grabbed the Rossoneri's second goal in the last-16 tie.
