<p>Pulisic is the<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/christian-pulisic-usmnt-ac-milan-real-madrid-champions-league/blt8360be499d68f1e3" target="_blank"> main man at AC Milan </a>these days and he has caught the attention of former Rossoneri striker Ibrahimovic after putting up some impressive numbers so far in 2024-25. The USMNT star has scored five goals and recorded three assists in 11 Serie A matches and has now been labelled "Captain America" by Sweden's legendary forward. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Speaking to the Champions League magazine, Ibrahimovic said: "I think Christian is our ‘Captain America’. He is doing extraordinary things, he seems happy. Being at Milan makes all players happy. It is not just my opinion, all players would tell you the same thing. They have an optimal environment in which to focus solely on football and performing on the pitch. As for Pulisic, we have turned his form back around and now you can see that he is really happy on the pitch, and that is why he is performing at a high level. Even off the pitch he is also crucial for us."</p>

WHAT IBRAHIMOVIC SAID

<p>While Pulisic has been in form, some of his team-mates have not. Likewise, in the Champions League Paulo Fonseca's team have won just two of their four games so far, meaning there is work to be done if they are to have a chance of challenging for silverware this term. </p>
