Chelsea player ratings vs Luton Town: Raheem Sterling dazzles and Nicolas Jackson gets off the mark as Blues cruise to victory

Robert Sanchez (6/10):Apart from coming for a couple of crosses, he barely had anything to do. As quiet a night as a goalkeeper could hope for. Malo Gusto (7/10):Repeatedly burst forward and played the pass to Sterling for both goals, the second being a superb cross.Axel Disasi (6/10):Never really tested at any point, but looked comfortable on the ball. Thiago Silva (6/10):Comfortable, and never really broke sweat defensively. Levi Colwill (6/10):Was skinned at one point in the first-half, but he made some good blocks and was rarely beaten in the air.Ben Chilwell (6/10): Captained his side and should have scored, as he burst into the box and opted to pass instead of shoot. Defensively, Luton are so limited he didn't really need to do anything.

Goalkeeper & Defence

Moises Caicedo (6/10):Fell over the ball with his first touch but grew into the game and kept possession ticking over. Nothing too showy from the club-record signing. Enzo Fernandez (7/10):Such a composed operator in midfield. Hit the post in the second half and played some lovely passes. Conor Gallagher (6/10):Played in a deeper midfield role, but he didn't have a great deal to do, beyond breaking up play.

Midfield

Nicolas Jackson (8/10): Forging an excellent partnership with Sterling, and scored the third goal with a clever touch from the England winger's cross.Raheem Sterling (9/10): Scored two excellent goals and assisted Jackson's strike in a virtuoso display. The first goal was an excellent solo strike, drifting off the right, beating defenders, and finishing low, while his second saw him finish Gusto's cross with a first-time finish.

Attack

Lesley Ugochukwu (6/10):Came on for Jackson late on. Ian Maatsen (6/10): Replaced Chilwell with five minutes to go. Mason Burstow (N/A): On for Sterling in injury time. Mauricio Pochettino (7/10):While he was limited by injuries in terms of his team selection, Pochettino got this one spot on, as Chelsea were dominant for 90 minutes and fully deserved their win.
