The first photo showed the happy couple, who have three children, sat on a sofa in their home. The following photos showed off their new interior, featuring cream carpets, plush sofas and a marble dining table looking out to the garden. WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Cucurella has made west London his home since <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/chelsea-cucurella-brighton-transfer-beat-man-city/blt0a71c83c85af4b64" target="_blank">completing a £55 million (€65m/$67m) switch to the Blues from Brighton in 2022</a>. The defender has had a mixed spell during his time at the club with managerial changes and inconsistent form undermining his time at Chelsea. Despite patchy performances for Chelsea, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/chelsea-s-spain-cult-hero-marc-cucurella-fires-back-at-gary-neville-after-going-all-the-way-at-euro-2024-at-england-s-expense/blta9b776e7ae797824" target="_blank">the left-back excelled for Spain at the European Championships</a> and provided the winning assist for Mikel Oyarzabal.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Cucurella believes his success for Spain against England in the final of the European Championship has made him suffer this season as a result. He claimed that he was a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/marc-cucurella-claims-premier-league-witch-hunt-england-euro-2024-failure/bltd5c5402670ad9161#csd53e439d0bdb123a" target="_blank">victim of a Premier League witch-hunt</a> and believed English people were quick to jump on his back as a result. "Being champion of the Euros is historic and you will always take it with you. I've already been suspended for five yellow cards and I've committed few fouls; they're going after me a bit. They jump on me quickly, especially when we play away. It's normal, we won, I was involved in the goal, I'm playing at their home... it's normal, they're hurt,” he said.</p>

<p>Chelsea have a weekend off after they were <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/chelsea-player-ratings-vs-brighton-christopher-nkunku-french-forward-cole-palmer/blt00cfe073d54a1bfd" target="_blank">knocked out of the FA Cup in the previous round</a> against Cucurella's former club Brighton.
