Chelsea receive huge boost as Bournemouth star Dean Huijsen's release clause revealed amid interest from Blues, Real Madrid & Bayern Munich

<p>Huijsen joined Bournemouth from Juventus in the summer of 2024 for a fee that could rise to €18 million (£15m). The young defender has enjoyed a stellar campaign in the Premier League, having appeared in 22 matches across all competitions for the Cherries. He has played a major role in the club fighting for a top-four spot this season. They are currently one point behind fourth-placed Manchester City.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The youngster is being closely followed by European giants like <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/real-madrid-bid-bournemouth-dean-huijsen-gbp16m-juventus/blt3a5245cd69c03ab8" target="_blank">Real Madrid</a>, Bayern Munich and <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/chelsea-put-dean-huijsen-top-list-blues-join-real-madrid-race-bournemouth-wonderkid/blte3cbb8d0748d8f9f" target="_blank">Chelsea</a> and according to <a href="https://www.threads.net/@fabriziorom/post/DGLyqCqoZqA?xmt=AQGzLqbf1PJdOYCZ2LmPrJz1VlLujR-aNP-dSxAIRfIrPw" target="_blank">Fabrizio Romano</a>, Huijsen has a £50m release clause in his existing deal which will become active in the upcoming summer transfer window.</p>

<p>The 19-year-old has formed a strong defensive partnership with team-mate Illya Zabarnyi this season. The Dorset club have conceded 29 goals in 25 matches thus far which is the joint third least number of goals conceded by a club in the Premier League after Arsenal and Liverpool.</p>
