Per <a href="https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1815409447323512996" target="_blank">Fabrizio Romano</a>, the Blues have initiated talks with the Swedish custodian - who is reportedly keen on joining the Premier League giants. The club currently have four goalkeepers on their shortlist including Leicester City's Mads Hermansen as they look to push Robert Sanchez for the No. 1 spot.

Mendes is reportedly trying to convince the 25-year-old to leave Stamford Bridge in the transfer window.
