WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>City hoped to have the inside track, as Camden's younger brother Astin is already on the book at the club's academy. Wherever Cameron ends up, he will have a great chance of making it as a pro, as City and Chelsea's academies are widely regarded as the best in the country.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>The £700,000 fee would represent the highest fee ever paid for a 13-year-old. In 2017, City paid Southend United a reported £175,000 for Finley Burns. Now 21-years-old, the defender has yet to make a first team performance for the Sky Blues, and has just completed a loan spell at Hull City in the Championship. </p>
