<p>The Old Trafford club headed into their post-season friendlies in Asia <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/man-utd-2024-25-season-ratings-every-player-ranked/blted9cf0a7e72b40db" target="_blank">after a dismal season that saw them finish 15th in the Premier League</a> and lose out on the Europa League title with a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham, ensuring they miss out on European football in the 2025-26 campaign. </p><p>The likes of Rasmus Hojlund, Kobbie Mainoo, Diogo Dalot, Casemiro, Harry Maguire and Andre Onana started Wednesday's game, but a 71st-minute goal from Muang Maung Lwin ensured their defeat.</p>

<p>Amorim's men will take on the Hong Kong national team in their next game on Friday. The players will then go on a break before they return to prepare for their pre-season tour, which starts with a game against Leeds in Stockholm on July 19.</p>
