Ronaldo posted an image on Instagram of himself and MMA icon McGregor laughing at ringside during the Saudi Arabia boxing show titled <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/best-caption-wins-cristiano-ronaldo-pictured-hysterics-ufc-conor-mcgregor-saudi-boxing-deontay-wilder-anthony-joshua/bltd6b2dc37a54615a0" target="_blank">'Day of Reckoning'</a>, which featured Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder both in action. He asked for the best caption, and the clear winner was a post trolling the Al-Nassr star's eternal rival, Messi.

The comment, which at the time of writing has over 46,000 likes, read: "When they said Messi is better than Ronaldo."
