<p>Since Ratcliffe and INEOS joined United as minority stakeholder in 2024, nearly <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/sir-jim-ratcliffe-man-utd-job-cuts-children-tears-youth-coaches-pay-price-ineos-cost-cutting/blt2658506d9986d15c#cscacc16620361ef12" target="_blank">250 employees have been made redundant as part of their cost-cutting drive</a> at the club. One such employee was communications officer John Allen, who served the club for 25 years.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>While Allen was forced to leave the club almost a year back, he continued to keep in touch with the senior figures of the team. On Tuesday, the ex-employee was spotted catching up with Red Devils captain Fernandes as they went out for lunch. The duo were spotted heading to Juniper in Wilmslow, a hotspot for United players to enjoy a meal, according to <a href="https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/34472002/bruno-fernandes-lunch-former-man-utd-employee-ratcliffe-redundant/" target="_blank"><em>The Sun</em></a>.</p>
