WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The 20-year-old English winger has attracted significant interest, particularly from Chelsea and Bayern Munich. Chelsea had been in the market for a left-winger and a striker in the January transfer window and explored multiple options,<a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/chelsea-man-utd-alejandro-garnacho-napoli-argentina-winger-dortmund-jamie-gittens/blt97c23dd8119b8711" target="_blank"> including Bynoe-Gittens, Alejandro Garnacho, and Liam Delap</a>. Earlier this year, Serie A side Napoli expressed interest in signing Adeyemi. While no formal bid was submitted, the Italian club was reportedly willing to offer €40 million (£33m/$41.50m) plus performance-related bonuses.
