Bayern Munich have shown a lot of improvement this season, sticking to a better defensive structure after Vincent Kompany's appointment at Allianz Arena. However, bad habits from last season crept in at Deutsche Bank Park against Eintracht as Bayern were held to a disappointing draw despite dominating possession.The Bavarians opened the scoring in the 15th minute of the game thanks to Kim Min-Jae's perfect finish from Thomas Muller's cutback. However, the lead did not last very long as Omar Marmoush capitalised on a loose bit of marking by Raphael Guerreiro by slotting the ball past Manuel Neuer, who admittedly could have done better to stop the goal. In the 35th minute of the game, Marmoush was at the centre of attention again as he managed to wrestle his way past Dayot Upamecano on the counter and pick out Hugo Ekitike, whose shot then beat Neuer at his near post. This time, though, it was Bayern's turn to equalise quickly as Upamecano tucked home in the six-yard box after a stunning save by Eintracht goalkeeper Kaua Santos from Michael Olise's shot.Kompany's men seemed to come out a different side after the break and reduced Eintracht's threat on the counter. Olise then got his goal to cap another superb performance as the French winger scored from a clever Harry Kane assist in the 53rd minute. Kane went off injured ten minutes later but Bayern held onto their lead until the fourth minute of stoppage time, when Marmoush popped up again to score his second and steal a point for the hosts.

Olise has looked like a world-class operator since his move to Germany from Crystal Palace in the summer, and the winger was on form once more to keep Bayern at the top of the Bundesliga standings over Leipzig on goal difference. The Frenchman took a total of 100 touches through the game and completed five of his six dribble attempts. He took his goal brilliantly, too, linking up with Kane to great effect before lashing into the bottom corner of the net.Marmoush deserved a standing as the joint-MVP, though, as he gave Eintracht a draw that keeps them just a point behind Bayern and Leipzig in the table. The Egypt international was ruthless in front of goal and was also the reason the home side got their second of the night as he bullied Upamecano to assist Hugo Ekitike.

THE MVP

Kane has now gone three matches without scoring, after his blank against Bayer Leverkusen last week and his dismal display against Aston Villa in the Champions League. The England captain has now failed to score in successive Bundesliga games for only the second time in his Bayern career, and to compound Kompany's misery, he limped off mid-way through the second half as Matthys Tel was thrown on to replace him. It remains to be seen whether Kane will be fit to play for England over the international break, or indeed if Bayern will have to make do without him for any period of time.

THE BIG LOSER

With the international break now set to commence, Kompany will have a good amount of time to figure out exactly what has been going wrong for his side as they are winless in three straight games in all competitions. The Bavarians will return to action with a clash against Stuttgart on October 19.
