WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Woltemade scored 17 goals and provided three assists in all competitions for Stuttgart last season. He is in fine form at the European Under 21 Championship, too, having scored a hat-trick in the first game, netted one and set up two in the next, and then scored one and assisted another as they beat Italy in the quarter-finals. His performances have not gone unnoticed as Bayern could go for the German striker, having been told by a former captain to sign him as a successor for <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/harry-kane-successor-bayern-munich-rising-star-german-football-captain-hails-chelsea-target/bltb7456f8237706df4" target="_blank">Harry Kane.</a> Chelsea have <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/good-scouting-nick-woltemade-chelsea-interest-hat-trick-in-u21-euro-bayern-munich-atletico-madrid-stuttgart-star/bltfa23bfd39f070cb1" target="_blank">also been credited with interest</a>.</p>

<p>Pavlovic has commented on the reported interest, telling <a href="https://sport.sky.de/transfer/news/34132/13387803/pavlovic-wuerde-sich-ueber-kumpel-woltemade-bei-bayern-freuen" target="_blank"><em>Sky</em></a>: "Nick is a good friend of mine. And I would be delighted, of course. I've already joked around with him a few times. We'll see what's in store for him in the future."</p><p>Asked about his form for the U21s, Pavlovic said: "I'm very happy that they're now in the semi-finals. I didn't watch the game against Italy, only the goals, including those from Nick Woltemade."</p>
