<p>Hamann recently <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/harry-kane-100-million-bayern-champions-league-defeat/blt92600f79381d6aa3#cs40c4b8eea1a93216" target="_blank">launched a scathing attack on Bayern Munich forward Kane</a> after the club's shock 1-0 <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/bayern-munich-serge-gnabry-harry-kane-champions-league-aston-villa/blt30f6fb1eed845b9b" target="_blank">defeat against Aston Villa</a> in the Champions League. Kane was heavily criticised for his inability to perform in big games as the ex-Liverpool midfielder claimed that the England captain is yet to justify his €100 million (£84m/$110m) price tag.</p>

<p>After Hamann's sudden attack on their star striker, Bayern chief Eberl has now hit back at the pundit as he told reporters, "Didi Hamann is like a tinnitus in the ear. It comes up every three days."</p>

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID

<p>The former Tottenham Hotspur forward broke multiple records and won the Golden Boot award in his maiden season in the Bundesliga. In the current, he is off to a flying start having scored 10 times in eight appearances. Yet his performance <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/german-media-harry-kane-bayern-munich-backlash-disappearing-in-big-games-bayer-leverkusen/blt74b51de1377c8720" target="_blank">has come under scrutiny</a> after he failed to find the back of the net against Bayer Leverkusen in the league last Sunday and then against the Villans in the important Champions League fixture.</p>
