<p>According to the <a href="https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/fc-bayern-liverpool-star-jetzt-top-kandidat-bei-den-bayern-686b5465d009353a0c9622bb" target="_blank"><em>BILD</em></a>, the reigning German champions have made significant progress <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/bayern-munich-luis-diaz-colombia-international-liverpool-launching-concrete-approach-winger/bltaba13bb96512960f" target="_blank">in their pursuit of Diaz</a> over the weekend as they got in touch with the Colombian international, who reportedly assured the club about a possible move to the Bundesliga. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Bayern are determined to sign a left-sided forward after Leroy Sane left the club to join Galatasaray. Kingsley Coman's future at Allianz Arena remains uncertain, while Serge Gnabry has entered the final 12 months of his contract. Bayern, at one point, had shown interest in Nico Williams but the Spaniard signed a new long-term deal at Athletic Club last week.</p>
