<p>There have been speculations over Musiala's future at Allianz Arena for quite some time with <a href="https://sportbild.bild.de/fussball/fc-bayern-muenchen/jamal-musiala-der-groesste-bayern-vertrag-aller-zeiten-674f19bd625c0c2a212f1c77" target="_blank"><em>BILD </em></a>recently reporting that the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/best-paid-bayern-munich-player-ever-bundesliga-giants-reward-jamal-musiala-with-100m-mega-contract/blte5e6c920465e7f7f#csd979240101abba75" target="_blank">Bundesliga giants are all set to offer a bumper deal to the German sensation</a> in a bid to tie him down to a new long-term deal. The new mega deal would reportedly make the 21-year-old the highest-earning Bayern player in the history of the club as well as in the Bundesliga. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Musiala had a terrific outing with Vincent Kompany's side on Saturday as he <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/jamal-musiala-vincent-kompany-harry-kane-bayern-munich-heidenheim/blt97710db546b43cb2" target="_blank">bailed out Bayern against Heidenheim</a>. He came on as a substitute in the second half to score a brace as the Bavarian club maintained their unbeaten run in the Bundesliga with a 4-2 win. A day after the game, Bayern were supposed to conduct an Annual General Meeting and there were rumours that suggested that the club would announce Musiala's contract extension. </p>

<p>Club director Max Eberl, however, refuted the speculations as he told reporters, "It won't happen tomorrow. There will be no 'bomb'." </p>

<p>Kompany's men will be back in action in midweek in Europe as they take on Shakhtar Donetsk in an away Champions League fixture on Tuesday. </p>
